About Me
Aravindh Sachidanandam (b. Jan 5, 1989) is an engineer-turned-writer from Tiruchirappalli, now based in Chennai. A graduate of Madras Institute of Technology, he left his career in Gujarat’s industrial corridors to chase stories instead of machines. Winner of the Sujatha Award in 2014 for his work on aravindhskumar.com, Aravindh’s short stories and novellas have earned multiple accolades. His writing spans fiction, non-fiction, and cinema—where he’s contributed to screenplays with a literary edge. He is also the Tamil translator of Baradwaj Rangan’s celebrated book Conversations with Mani Ratnam, bringing cinematic conversations to a wider audience in their mother tongue. By day, he works at a public sector bank. By soul, he writes.
